What happens at Day Care?
All this for just £32*
Arrival
Your dog’s fun day care begins soon after being dropped off to us. Arrival times are typically between 8.00am and 8.30am however we can vary this by prior arrangement to suit your needs.
Throughout the day we try to take plenty of photos and with your permission, post them on our Facebook Page and our website Gallery Page for you to see what your lovely doggy has been up to!
Morning Walk
Soon after arrival, your dog will be driven out to one of our many countryside walk locations by either Tim or Sarah. Our vehicles are fitted with dog crates for comfort and security. We also carry plenty of water, towels and a first aid kit onboard. Your dog will have at least an hour in the countryside to run around and let off steam with our other Day Care and Boarding dogs.
Dogs are only allowed off lead with the owner’s permission and only if we feel it’s safe to do so.

Clean Up
After each walk, your dog will be cleaned and dried as necessary. Our covered outside shower area means that the larger muddy dogs can have a nice warm shower and be dried outside even if it’s raining. The smaller dogs are cleaned indoors in our well-equipped utility room.
Play/Rest Time
When not out on their walks, the dogs can either play in our garden or just rest and relax. We believe that a little downtime between walks leads to better behaviour and doesn’t over stimulate the dogs in our care. This is a great socialising time for the dogs especially for those that perhaps don’t normally get the opportunity. Dogs are always supervised by us and are not left alone.

Afternoon Walk
The second walk is at around lunchtime. Again, your dog will be taken out to a different walk location from the morning walk with other dogs for at least another hour of fun and play! Afterwards, we find that most dogs like to relax in the garden or on one of our comfy doggy beds. Any that still have the energy can play with Tim or Sarah in the garden with a ball or tug toy etc.
Home Time
We ensure that dogs are nice and clean before going home. They often have a brush and spray of groomers perfume to make them smell lovely before being picked up by their owners between 4.30 and 5.30pm or dropped home by us.
Your dog will go home well exercised, happy and tired after a lovely day with us!
